Utah State Correctional Facility Relocation

CEL is providing testing and special inspection services for the new Utah State Correctional Facility located in undeveloped land west of the Salt Lake City International Airport near the Great Salt Lake.

The prison is being relocated from Draper, as well as expanding to house 4,000 inmates in a rehabilitation-centric prison.

CEL was recently awarded the materials testing and special inspection services contract for GMP2 for roadways and infrastructure for the site. The roadways and infrastructure will service the 25+ buildings and site pads to be constructed for the 200+ acre compound.
