Carol has been testing, evaluating, reporting and investigating road base and pavement materials since 1982.  In May of 2001, Carol came to CEL and expanded our existing range of construction materials testing and inspection services to include slurry seal and micro-surfacing mix designs, asphalt emulsion and asphalt residue testing, and inspections for emulsion based applications. Carol has a NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level IV certificate in Construction Materials Testing/Asphalt.  In addition, since 1996, Carol has provided presentations and committee support at the ISSA’s (International Slurry Surfacing Association) Slurry Systems Workshop.
