Since 1997 Bill has been a Field Supervisor for CEL overseeing our strong structural steel and AWS work force. He has 35 years of experience in structural steel, welding, Quality Control, and over 15 years of inspection experience. Bill has a unique approach to problem solving and outstanding communication skills. As a field inspector, Bill has worked on some of the largest projects built in California, including being the lead field inspector on the Getty Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles as well as the San Francisco International Airport Terminal Building.

Representative Projects

Kaiser Santa Clara Hospital - Phase II; San Francisco, California
Supervised and managed CEL shop and field staff for the project. Worked closely with Kaiser's Inspectors of Record (IOR) doing weld procedure reviews, inspector coordination and jobsite trouble shooting.
Devry Institute; Fremont, California
Resident Inspector on all aspects of structural steel inspections.
Moscone Center Expansion; San Francisco, California
A structural steel frame expansion of the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Supervised and coordinated the fabrication work being done in 5 fabrication shops around the world. Also supervised and managed CEL field staff during the project.
Golden Gate Bridge Retro-fit; San Francisco, California
Supervised and managed CEL field staff for the plating of the pylons on the south abutment and the removal of rivets, replacing them with high strength bolts. Also worked closely with inspector coordination.
