As a principal of the firm, Jim brings more than 30 years of experience in construction inspection and materials testing to the clients of CEL. Jim is extremely proficient in trouble-shooting and problem solving. He is widely recognized throughout the industry as a former president of the California Council of Testing and Inspection Agencies (CCTIA) and a director of the Council of Engineering Laboratory Employers. In addition to his operations responsibilities, Jim also serves as a Project Manager and has managed projects ranging from a 42-story high-rise to a recently completed project, Santana Row located in San Jose, California. Jim has also managed CEL’s work on foreign soil including significant projects in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Mexico.
