RICHMOND PARKWAY
RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA

Consolidated Engineering Laboratories provided inspection and testing services for this 7.5 mile roadway and interchange connecting Highway 580 near the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge to Highway 80 north of Richmond. Included in our services were all new grade settings, underground utilities, drainage systems and seven major structures (overpasses, concrete and steel bridges and railway bridges), as well as the widening of an existing roadway.

CEL had as many as five full-time technicians providing materials testing on this project, as well as two on-site mobile laboratories for Caltrans field conformance tests for soil, concrete and asphaltic concrete. In addition, we provided hands-on training for Richmond residents, working in partnership with minority owned firms.
