Consolidated Engineering Laboratories provided materials testing and special inspection services for the
new Stockton Arena. The arena will serve as the home for an ECHL minor league hockey, AF2 arena
football and indoor soccer teams. The arena is expected to include 10,000 seats, 24 suites, 400 club seats,
5,000 sf of meeting rooms, administrative offices for all the sports teams and the arena operations and
management staff.
CEL's scope of services provided were: batch plant inspection, concrete placement and sampling,
reinforcing steel, masonry placement and sampling, shotcrete, shop and field welding, shop material
identification, high strength bolting and epoxy grouted dowels inspection and testing.
