M.H. DE YOUNG MEMORIAL MUSEUM

This 340,000 s.f. $135 million new museum construction in Golden Gate Park is San Francisco's
largest public arts institution. This unique design makes this building the largest copper clad building in the world. CEL is providing all required materials testing and special inspections for the
massive project, including reinforced concrete, post-tension concrete, structural steel shop and field
welding, and non-destructive testing. Base isolator installation and measurement and installation of
viscous dampeners were a unique part of our scope of services.
