Consolidated Engineering Laboratories provided all on- and off-site materials testing and special inspection for this unique 5-story, 210,000 SF parking structure which was built utilizing a hybrid moment resisting precast concrete frame. The scope of services included continuous inspection of the erection and placement of precast concrete girders and columns, including column baseplate grouting, placement of mild reinforcing steel between the precast girders and columns, post-tensioning placement and stressing operations for the girders and columns, inspection of grout placement at the interface of precast columns and girders, and grout placement in the girder grout pockets, as well as inspection services for reinforced concrete placement, epoxy grouted dowels, masonry, and miscellaneous metals.
