LETTERMAN DIGITAL ARTS
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

The future home of LucasFilms, Lucas Video, and Industrial Light and Magic is the beginning of the conversion from the military's Presidio Army Base to the first public facility placed on the park and recreation land managed by the Presidio Trust.
This project was a massive 825,000 square foot facility with eight buildings and four stories of underground parking and will later house a full-scale movie theater. Over 70,000 cubic yards of concrete were placed over an eleven-month schedule. CEL provided the full range of inspection services including the monitoring of the on-site batch plant that was utilized for the project. Extensive coordination revolved around the fast paced schedule of the project which required Saturday and Sunday concrete laboratory sample testing in order to meet the Contractor's schedule.
