CEL was initially awarded this work in a two-year contract and had subsequent extensions of one year each based upon the high quality of services that CEL provided. CEL was able to obtain the contract for an additional two-year period on a resubmittal. CEL has worked on numerous projects throughout the City, including all of the capital improvement projects such as North Mines Road Over-crossing, Greenville Road Widening, sewer replacements, and various private projects in which public improvements are being constructed. CEL's environmental department has been utilized for environmental site investigations for city acquisitions. CEL provided two full-time inspectors to the City as well as on-call personnel as needed.
