CEL performed all of the ultrasonic testing of the complete and partial penetration welds (both shop and field) on this new 6-story structural steel frame building which was fabricated over a 6-month period at Gayle Manufacturing's Woodland, California facility. In addition, CEL performed inspections on the mat foundation pour and all concrete throughout this structure. Inspections also included masonry and fireproofing.
CEL served two clients on this project: the inspection services for the structural steel, both shop fabrication and field services were contracted by Gayle Manufacturing, and all other field services were contracted by the University of California, Davis.
