SPECIAL INSPECTORS
Consolidated Engineering Labs is a construction materials inspection firm with a long history of success. Multiple openings. Inspectors observe work in progress to ensure that procedures and materials conform to contract documents and applicable codes; examine finished work to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction; maintain daily log of construction and inspection activities; prepare related reports and records; prepare samples of soil or other materials for testing; interpret blueprints and specs; perform calculations relative to inspection requirements. Communicate with on-site staff to solve problems.

Requirements:
- Valid certificates such as ICBO, ACI, AWS, CWI, etc.
- Valid drivers license; willing to use own vehicle for job.
- Knowledge of state & local building codes & regulations; ability to read, including blueprints, write; mathematical calculations; building standards; terminology & construction methods; occupational health & safety standards, inspection methods, procedures & record keeping.
- Able to lift &/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass physical & drug screen.
